Our story
Founded in 2015, Hello Beer was born when four overly optimistic friends sat around a kitchen table late at night and realised they liked talking about beer considerably more than doing their actual jobs. What started as a chaotic home-brewing experiment has grown into a high-tech facility producing an array of award-winning craft brews.
Our custom brewhouse was crafted by premier German engineers who have been building turnkey breweries for centuries, meaning the equipment is exceptionally reliable, even if the founders are still winging it. We produce four flagship core brews year-round, plus a rotating line of seasonal experiments that range from "absolute genius" to "what were we thinking?"
Every bottle, can and keg is brewed, packaged and distributed directly from our main brewery, designed specifically to pair perfectly with good food, bad decisions and long weekends.
The Crew
The Visionary
A lifelong devotion to craft beer, nurtured by years of "evaluating" continental European brews, made opening a brewery the only logical career move. The corporate CV said "strategic planner", but the heart said "fermentation enthusiast".
Sales & Outreach
Equipped with infinite energy and a terrifying level of charisma, he spends his days on the road. If he has not already walked into your venue to pitch Hello Beer, lock your doors. He is on his way, and he will convince you to put us on tap.
The Brewmaster
An obsessive home-brewer who turned his passion into a full-time gig. Legend has it he brewed the very first batch of Hello Beer at a contract facility before our own brewery was even built. After a stint honing his craft at major regional breweries, he returned to us in 2019 to ensure our beer tastes less like a chemistry experiment and more like liquid gold.
Marketing & Chaos Management
After years working behind bars and slinging pints as a brand ambassador for giant global beverage conglomerates, he defected to craft beer. He handles everything from high-energy social media posts to label designs, making sure the beer looks as good on the shelf as it tastes in the glass.
Sustainability & community commitments
At Hello Beer, we care about the planet almost as much as we care about what goes into our glasses. As an accredited member of international sustainable brewing initiatives, we work hard to minimise our environmental footprint.
- Sustainably sourced grain: we aim to source 90%+ of our malt from certified regional farming partners.
- Recycled and recyclable packaging: 100% of our cans, bottles and cardboard packaging are recyclable, and we prioritise suppliers using post-consumer recycled materials.
- Water ratio targets: we continuously monitor and reduce our water usage per litre of beer brewed, balancing eco-efficiency with squeaky-clean hygiene standards.
- Energy management: operating a modern facility allows us to minimise natural gas and electricity usage per batch, keeping emissions down while keeping production up.
- Community focus: we actively support local sports teams, community block parties and environmental clean-up initiatives.
